Carolyn Olson is the Office Administrator. Carolyn began working for Our Savior’s Lutheran Church in 1978. She answers the phone, prepares the bulletin/prayer card/News In Brief for the weekend services and many jobs in between. She enjoys the versatility of the job and the people she works with. Carolyn also enjoys gardening and quliting. Her family includes her late husband Glen, her children Jay & Michelle, Todd; and her grandchildren Elizabeth, Blaine & Hayley.
Karletta is our Sunday School Superintendent. She began working with the children in 2004. Karletta and her family have been members of the church since 2000. We truly appreciate her volunteer efforts.
Jayme (Ryan) Winter has been doing youth ministry since 1994. In 2002 she officially joined the staff here at Our Savior’s. Her duties include spiritual mentoring, program leadership, sharing ministry and programs within the congregation and local community. Jayme grew up in Bird Island and is a life long member of OSLC. She attended Ridegwater College and obtained a degree in Marketing Management, which she says she now uses to “Market Jesus.” She is currently working to become an Associate in Ministry in the ELCA. In her free time Jayme loves to spend time with her family, cooking & baking (especially cupcakes).
Pastor Nick was called as Pastor to Our Savior’s in November of 2014. He lives in Bird Island with his wife, Andrea, and son, Jonas. Nick obtained his undergraduate degree in Philosophy and Art History at Concordia College, Moorhead, MN in 2008. He is a 2013 graduate of Luther Seminary in St. Paul, MN. His work experience started in the church as a janitor. Other experiences have taken him behind a computer screen, into an art gallery and through the woods.
