Many of our Youth Activity are based on Synod wide programs…..

detroitDETROIT CHRISTIAN TRAVELERS are preparing for the National Youth Gathering to be held in Detroit, MN in July of 2015.  Our youth have been doing fundraising events to help pay for the expenses for this trip.

BAND – Youth and adults join together to provide the celebration of worship through contemporary and traditional music.

CLOCK – 10th-12th grade Youth group, 2nd Sunday of each month at 6:10pm. With Cross of Calvary.

FUEL – Youth planned and lead worship service held twice a year for 7th-12th graders. Open to ALL planned by the CLOCK group.

DISCIPLESHIP is a full-time calling – NOT a part-time hobby! One way we can live that out is by looking every day for ways we can serve others. I found a couple of ideas from 5th Bridge of Northfield describing ways to put your faith into action.

First of all, February, February 9-15, 2015, is National Random Acts of Kindness Week. The 7 Days of Kindness lists a challenge for each day of the week for us to put a smile on someone else’s face. Of course, just like our faith isn’t part-time, the ideas here don’t need to be limited to any particular week or day. Also available is list of 100 ideas you can use to serve and help others in your community. Remember – every day, all day, belongs to the Lord.
